To improve fire safety in the neighborhood and to meet the latest standards for fire protection, CCWD will install additional hydrants in the neighborhood.ĬCWD has awarded the construction of this important project to Cratus Inc. When complete, this critical infrastructure upgrade project will improve water service reliability in the neighborhood. The older pipes in this neighborhood have a history of leaks, which result in costly repairs and disruptive water outages. Contra Costa Water District (CCWD) is starting work to replace and upgrade over 2.5 miles of aging water pipes in the Gregory Gardens area of Pleasant Hill.
