![]() So i've been looking to get in to modern recently since it's one of the most played formats at my LGS, but i'm on a tight budget (around 100$, wow is modern expensive haha). If you ever want a deck to be made into a video feel free to leave a like, comment, Email, and subscribe to MTGGoldfish and MTGGoldfishCommander on Youtube! Instant speed removal is going to be at an all-time high for control decks between vehicles, enchantments, and creature lands and March helps answer all of that. I'd also look to adding more Field of Ruin and March of Otherworldly Light. The deck isn't fully tuned as this was what we threw together on stream but I think we want more one drop artifacts, Mnemonic Sphere, and more Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh. The best part about this is stopping Ranger Class + Esika's Chariot all in one go. If we really need to deal with an Esika's Chariot then this also works there. It may seem counterintuitive when it could potentially undo some of your own things but often times we can just exile creatures and enchantments. Being able to pants Mono Green decks is one of the best feelings ever. Lastly, Farewell is a masterpiece of a removal spell. The passive reads EACH turn so Reckoner Bankbuster if you can untap it again with Teferi, Who Slows the Sunset you can tap it down for free on your turn and then for free again thanks to Tezz's reduction. At first, I thought this was going to be another Tezzeret that will be decent without a support package but thanks to all the artifacts, this card has been the truth. The biggest miss on my part was how good Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh is. This is something for us to fight Channel lands and etc! This is a Stifle attached to a massive artifact body. The deck also has a sweet artifact in our new favorite Mirrorshell Crab. Lastly, Disruption Protocol is just a counterspell for us most of the time and that's absolutely nuts. The best part is that it doesn't need to be tapped to sac for card draw so if you're able to leave up mana, you can sacrifice it if somebody tries to remove it. If we need to, we can channel it for a U or play it down like a rock that we can turn into a creature with Tezzeret, Betrayer of Flesh. ![]() It's going to serve as a more flexible Ichor Wellspring. It also doesn't seem like much but I really like Mnemonic Sphere. We haven't had a Springleaf Drum in a minute and Prototype does that for us while also having the ability to channel as a form of removal which is absolutely ABSURD. We brewed this up on stream and wow, did I underestimate a ton of the artifacts and support around artifacts thanks to #MTGNeon. Artifacts aren't just aggressive, there's even a Control version! Tezzeret Control hasn't existed in quite some time.
